THANK YOU, etsy, for the introduction this afternoon to Kai Samuels-Davis, painter extraordinaire and shopkeep at Windy Lane Studio. Kai’s expressive realist-style paintings are composed of cerebral, visceral figures, landscapes and objects – “creating a mood of melancholy and solitude”. Exactly the kind of things I want hanging on my walls, enveloping my surroundings.
