Kai’s expres­sive realist-style paint­ings are com­posed of cere­bral, vis­ceral fig­ures, land­scapes and objects – “cre­at­ing a mood of melan­choly and soli­tude”. Exactly the kind of things I want hang­ing on my walls, envelop­ing my sur­round­ings.
